“I think that we should all go onto the human’s ship to talk,” Wynona suggests. “The human is our guest, so we should move, not them.”
“Alright,” you state, happy that you will not have to leave the safety of your own ship. “Erin, can you please unlock the doors so they can get in?”
The doors are unlocked, and you head down to the main living room, making sure that your helmet is secure. One minute later, Wynona and Isadora enter and come over to you. “Please sit down,” you gesture to two couches for your visitors. “I am a human from the planet Earth, and I am honored to be able to make first contact with the Kichi.”
“As you have probably realized so far, I am Wynona, a Kichi,” Wynona formally introduces herself. “It is an honor to be making first contact with humans for us, too. I hope we can have beneficial and peaceful relations.”
Although you are not exactly sure what ‘beneficial’ means to the Kichi, you respond, “I also hope we can have beneficial and peaceful relations.” The two of you begin engaging in casual conversation, discussing what each species will need to know about the other in order to successfully interact. As you are talking, you notice that Wynona keeps getting her tail closer and closer to Isadora’s feet. When the tail finally reaches the soles, it touches them and starts wiggling around.
“HEHE,” Isadora laughs as she looks down. “WYHYHYNOHOHONA!” The tail retreats quickly back to the Kichi, and the Erimosi glares at her. “What was that about, Wynona?”
“I thought we should show the human one of the Kichi customs,” Wynona announces in defense.
“Customs?” you wonder, looking a little confused.
“Yes, tickling is a fun custom,” the Kichi reveals. “That is why we have so much skin showing.”
“Do the Kichi like being tickled as much as they like tickling others?” you inquire.
“At times,” Wynona answers. “Usually, though, being the tickler is more fun. Come over, and I will show you the joys of tickling. You do have another couch right here.”
