Nick saw his family walking out of his home dressed in black as he had only seen them do one two other occasions, when his pet Pitbull had died and when his grandmother had died. Nick knew that the only person who had died recently was him, unless his death had caused someone else to die.
Nick watched his family climb into the car that his mother seemed to be crying, and his father was grim faced as always. His brother, on the other hand, seemed to be particularly happy as he thumbed through Nick's CD collection. Nick nearly growled in anger seeing his brother doing this and was glad that his will had given his brother nothing.
Nick and his little brother had never gotten along well, and it seemed nick's death had done nothing to change this.
Nick waited until everyone had climbed into the car before he dropped from the tree and scrambled under the car and held onto the underside. Nick heard the car rumble and pressed himself as flat as possible to keep from getting scraped across the ground.
Nick held on for almost twenty minutes feeling the wind tearing past him and the car heating up to painful temperatures. After that the car came to a stop and Nick peaked out and saw that they were at his granny's house. Nick dropped off the car and blew his feet to try and cool them off.
