A strange type of water/soil.

Applejack looked up to the clouds above and wiped her brow in relief. There was gonna be a pretty big rainstorm sometime tonight and it looked like it was already coming in. Looking closer to the clouds however, A.J. knew something was off. The color of the clouds was..... off. "Please don't be acid rain." she thought in horror, "This orchard doesn't need another one of those showers." The clouds were already beginning to shadow the setting sun, so AJ started heading towards the house. Little was she aware that this was not normal rain, not acid rain, but an unnatural rain indeed. With all the magic in the air as of recent, the weather was beginning to react strangely.
Lightning flashed as the rain kept pouring down onto the orchard. What oddities there was in the rain was luckily absorbed and eradicated by the soil. For the droplets that landed on the trees however, the plants absorbed everything. The magic infused into the drops spread out into the tree, especially into the fruits.
Applejack woke up the next morning bright and early, even though she didn't have school today. She looked out the window and saw the trees and apples.....
