Junta considered himself a bit of a man's man, despite his appearance. People were always estimating him just because he was short. Even taking self-defense classes didn't seem to stop the condescending remarks. Turning into a girl had only made it worse. Just the other day, he overheard some boys call Junko "small and cute". If she wasn't trying to maintain a low profile, she might have knocked his block off.
Still, there was something... strange about being a girl. Little things and behaviors that were different than before. At first it seemed typical. The gang had discussed bras the night before, noting their expensiveness. They were new to this, so they had to discuss how to handle the article of clothing.
But there was something else too. They giggled when they joked around together. Their postures were different. When startled, they reflexively brought their hands to their chest. They were the same yet... different.
Junko stared at herself in the mirror, gauging her features as the rain tapped on the roof. She was small and cute, much as she denied it. The school uniform looked pretty good on her too. She twirled around in a circle, smiling slightly as the skirt spun. She really was kind of cute. Maybe Sakurako would like it. Not that she was the kind of girl that would like girls but... maybe.
