Dogs the size of cars and horses the size of houses are just some of the size enhancements made to the animals on the Harkoch Farm. As a food producing farm and there are many advantages of having larger than natural animals. For example: the cows make more milk here than anywhere else and the sheep make more wool than what could ever be needed. Over all having a few large animals is more profitable than have a lot of normal sized ones.
One big problem here is that there is almost no automation so the farm employs a huge team of almost two hundred people to keep it working. With any big operation there are always draw backs and danger, the largest one is that the animals eat a lot and they leave behind a lot afterwards. Luckily their manure is used almost completely in the field or in other useful ways. So there's never really a problem with that part of the job. The feeding is the real danger as they'll eat just about anything that lands in their feeders. To date there has only ever been seven accidents reported where workers found themselves feeding the animals more literally than intended, but every now and then someone will go missing without explanations.
Apart from that slightly dark topic the farm is a great place to work and live. The food’s filling, the beds are comfortable, and the pay's amazing. So who are you on this farm?
