Knowing that doubling back would mean getting caught you make a dash along the barn side followed by a sharp turn at the corner as your eyes scan for a door, window, or anything else you can use to get inside. You make a sharp turn again as you reach the end of the another wall - nothing - closed shutters seal every reachable window. Gasping for air as you run along the back of this large building you collapse and are about to vomit from the effects of exercise mixed with alcohol on your stomach, when in the fading light the shine of a door handle catches your eye. You lunge for the door as you feel your stomach contracting and to your relief it opens and you slam onto the barn's floor. You quickly close the door and hurry into the darker corners of the barn as you hear two officers run past the door. "I'm safe" crosses your mind right before you hunch over in pain and a mix of half digested food and discolored liquids shoots from your mouth and splashes the hay covered floor. You gag trying to catch your breath as you hear the cops through the wooden wall. Not any safer than before you entered the barn you think about looking for a better place to hide.
