Drunk And On The Run

Red and blue lights strobe behind you as you run from your car. The grassy ground seems to shake and shift under your feet in your drunken mind. Sirens howl in your ears and mix into a deafening ring with the loud thumps of your blood pounding in your head. Somewhere behind you, your equally drunk friend screams out in shock as a police officer tackles him to the ground. Knowing you'll be next, you burst into a full on dash towards a wooden fence. You squint your eyes to focus in the _____ light as you get ready to jump it.
