As you approach your office, you see Jacinta typing away at her computer right next to your door. You walk up to her and clear your throat to get her attention, making her jump at the unexpected noise. "Oh, good morning mister James. How can I help you today?" She asks with hands folded.
"I need to see you in my office for a second Jacinta." You tell her as you open your door. You see her look visibly worried, as if she thought she was about to be fired. You decide to reassure her. "Don't worry, you're not in trouble. I simply need to speak to you in private." You watch as her shoulders relax.
"Of course sir." She saves what she was typing up and follows you into the office. You close the door behind her and lock it, making sure that you have no interruptions. "What would you like to speak to me about sir?"
You take a seat at your desk and motion for her to sit next to you. You reach into ome of your drawers and pull out her note from before asking you out. "I'd like to talk about this, if you don't mind." She starts to blush as she realizes what's happening here.
"Oh... I see you got that note after all. I thought Helena threw that away and you never got to see it." She begins to rub her thighs together in shame. "So, is this your way of turning me down without making a scene?"
"Not at all. In fact, I would love to go on a date with you tonight. My place after work?" You offer. Jacinta's face lights up like a Christmas tree when you ask her.
"Of course. I'll be there tonight, 5:30 sharp." As she begins to walk out, you question whether or not you should tell her the truth behind this little get together.
