Dreadberry is a small town in the world of monsters. If it weren't for the population being monsters of mythology that were hundreds of feet tall, then it would be like any town in Texas U.S.A. It was a quiet town, but not without the occasional quarrel.
Last month a new couple arrived in town. A monster/human couple. The wife of the couple was Skyler Clarke. Skyler was a pudgy and overweight gorgon with rhinoceros vipers for hair. Her body was pale grayish green with red, black and blue highlights and a long tail as well as a pair of legs that ended in sharp talons. She also had a large V-shaped horned yellow nose like an actual rhinoceros viper. Because of her fatal gaze, she had to wear a pair of bright green triangle shaped sunglasses. Skyler lived with her human husband, Archie, an Asian looking human with dyed red hair and thin glasses. At this moment Archie was riding on Skyler's shoulder as she stomped into her house furious.
"That damn cat! She has a lot of nerve! Giving me a damn parking ticket!" "Calm down, Skyler!" Skyler's hair gave an angry hiss before Skyler grabbed her husband and made him scream. "Don't tell me to calm down, Archie. That Reaver is a plague." Of course, Skyler was referring to Dreadberry's sheriff, Maggie Reaver. Maggie was a 1000ft tall Nemean lioness, an indestructible lion with white fur and golden blonde hair. Maggie was also very obese with a large butt, huge stomach and enormous breasts. She had a human husband herself by the name of Neil. But unlike Skyler and Archie, Maggie and Neil had a daughter; a teenaged mer-lioness named Sapphire who was a hybrid of a monster and a human.
Maggie and Skyler had quickly made enemies as soon as they met. Skyler had an extreme dislike of feline monsters and was outright rude towards Maggie prompting the two of them to exchange some rather cross words. It didn't help that Skyler made fun of the fact that Maggie's husband was a manicurist. Since they met, Skyler would quarrel with Maggie over the dumbest things. The other day they had gotten into a fight over the last can of spaghetti sauce at the local supermarket and before that, Skyler accused Sapphire of stealing from the apple tree in her yard, which didn't sit well with Maggie. This parking ticket was the final straw.
"I hate that lousy lioness!" yelled Skyler. "She thinks she's so smug just because she has a badge. The election's next week and she's fighting without an opponent. Perhaps somebody should change that." "Come on, Skyler," said Archie. "I don't think she means to be vicious." Skyler looked out to see Maggie across the street cooking at a grill. "Think again," Skyler said. "Those propane fumes are gonna make me sick. I can just feel it. I'd like to take that cat down a peg." That's when Skyla noticed that somebody else was walking away from Maggie's property and with a black eye from the looks of it.
This new monster was a 660ft tall and huge-gutted werefox with red-orange fur, dark colored hair and a beauty mark on her lower chin. She was wearing skin tight jeans and a yellow jacket without a bra or a shirt. That was Meagan Reynard. She also hated Maggie. She was Neil's ex-girlfriend and despised Neil so much to the point where she wanted to swallow him whole. Of course, every time she's directly attacked him, Maggie retaliated rather violently. One time, Maggie nearly strangled Meagan when she caught the vulpine giantess trying to kidnap her husband.
That was when Skyler got an idea and her snake hair hissed. Archie let out a gulp. "You're not thinking of teaming up with Meagan are you?" asked Archie. "Meagan eats humans." "Only because Maggie's loser husband dumped her and hooked up with a lower quality fleabag. I think Meagan and I could mutually benefit from each other. Skyler gave an evil laugh as her snake hair hissed. Soon the gorgon decided to pay a visit to Meagan who at that time was wearing a steak over her black eye while her per chimeric dog was sleeping in the corner. Meagan heard Skyler knocking and opened the door to look in surprise to see Skyler with a devil's food cake. Meagan seemed confused. "Skyler?" asked Meagan. "What are you doing here? Where's Archie? I could use a snack." Skyler gave a hiss. "My husband isn't here and he isn't on the menu. Listen Meagan, I hate Maggie and you do to. I want to cream that cat in the election for sheriff."
Meagan let out a scoff and took the cake from Skyler. "Good luck. Nobody ever runs against that fat cat." Skyler then let out a hiss. "Come on. You'll never be able to make a meal out of your ex as long as his wife is the sheriff." Meagan nodded her head and sighed as she cut a piece of the cake for herself and greedily ate it. "That's for sure. Direct attack has never worked, so perhaps you're on to something. But that won't be enough revenge. I was saving this for an emergency."
Meagan then reached into her cupboard and took out what looked like a combination of darts and syringes. "What the hell are those?" asked Skyler. "These are special darts I ordered," said Meagan. "The poison in these darts causes expansion of the posterior. Maggie's mother is a splintercat, the species of monster with the biggest ass in comparison to their body. But this dart will make that pussycat's can even bigger than that of a splintercat." "You vulpine idiot!" yelled Skyler. "No weapon can pierce the skin of a Nemean lion." Meagan let out a growl. "The kappa I bought these from told me these darts were so sharp they actually could." Meagan handed a dart to Skyler who took it and gave an evil smirk."
Skyler saw Maggie across the street cleaning the grill and she had bent over with her rear in plain view. Skyler let out a laugh. "Alright fat ass cat ass. You asked for it. Ouch!" Skyler had unknowingly backed up into Meagan's other dart but she didn't realize it at the time as she and Meagan walked out to commence with their evil plan. "Steady," said Meagan. "Steady." Skyler took aim at Maggie's rear as Maggie was busy with the grill. Of course, she felt a pulsing in her own can and vibrations, but decided to ignore them, not realizing her own butt was slowly getting bigger. Skyler took aim at Maggie hoping the dart would be able to pierce the indestructible skin of a Nemean lioness.
But as Skyler threw the dart, did it work?   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
