As Serafina was stepping out of her carriage she suddenly felt a weird pain in her belly. She grabbed hold of her now shrunken waist in pain, she felt as if it was bubbling with something. Bubbling with fat. Her belly rapidly started to inflate with added adipose as she was helpless to stop it. Her dress that she made tighter began to buckle under the pressure and ripped straight down the middle of her gut, causing it to jiggle free from it's confines. Once Serafina's jiggly midriff was more than visible through the wide tear in her green dress, it decided to stop growing.
Serafina was confused. It seemed as if all the weight she has moved away from her waist suddenly surged back in, but oddly enough her breasts and ass didn't seem to get affected, they stayed the same size as when the fat was relocated. All other changes remained. Serafina decided to leaf through the book to figure out what happened.
"Huh, it seems that if casted incorrectly, some effects can backfire. I guess i didn't say the alphabet backwards correctly or something".
She glanced back down at her chubby gut.
"Oh well, it's not like my other alterations were changed back, and i guess i like this 'ol thing, i wouldn't mind keeping it if I'm being honest. But what to do about my dress, i can't be out in public looking like this..."
She pondered for a moment. She then tried using her cloth alteration spell on it to try and fix the rip down the middle, but it didn't work at all.
"What the hell!" Exclaimed Serafina "why isn't it working?"
She leafed through the book again.
the cloth alteration spell can only change the size of the clothes in question, in order to fix or make changes to your attire you must reach a higher magic level.
"well that's just great" sighed Serafina "what will i do now?... Wait, i got it!"
She suddenly remembered that her roommate is a seamstress, and a rather skilled one at that. And so with that, Serafina walked as fast as she possibly could to her dorm and knocked on the door.
"Is Taylor here?"
"Yeah, Serafina is that you?"
"Yes, and i need your help, i had a bit of a... wardrobe malfunction"
"hold on, let me get the door for you".
As the door slowly opened, Serafina got a chance to see her old roommate after a long time away from each other.
