In this world, while the ascendant anthropomorphic pokémon hold dominion over their feral brethren, the ability to consume live prey whole is not normal. Years ago when Liz developed the ability to vore her victims, she unwittingly earned a spot on the watchlist of a secret society.
The Order of the Silent Phage are an ancient sect of pokéninjas skilled in the Way of Vore, and have tasked themselves with keeping such abilities a secret from the rest of the world. When a 'typical' pokémon citizen develops these skills innately, they are observed by the Order, and if they risk exposing the secret of the Way, they are indiscriminately dispatched.
Liz' failed school and the subsequent string of disappearances in the neighboring towns and villages finally pushed things too far. An elite pair of Order assassins have been pursuing her - a towering Pangoro and his stealthy Greninja companion - and Liz is finally within their grasp. Will she survive the encounter, alive and undigested?
