I had made the choice to seek out Helin and try to understand what was going on. This darkness that hovers over the kingdom is real and knows this. There was no time to waist, I began my search for him.
"Helin, there is someone here to see you."
"Good good let them in then."
His manner changed when he met me in the eyes. He was grief stricken and knew why I was there, this much I knew. "Helin, we need to speak. You must know why I have come to you."
"Hush, don't say another word. This neither the time or place to discuss this. I know exactly why you are here and it's a matter of destroying it once and for all."
"Who else, Helin. If not you then who else?" I paced his room with my head down trying to make sense of it all. Helin's hand laid firm on my shoulder. I turned around and he held a distinct look in his eyes.
"I can't speak of any of it right now, but meet me tonight by the bridge after the moon has come to a full rise."
"Why the bridge? Helin what is going on?"
"No worries, I will explain. Be sure to come alone."
He escorted me out and dismissed me in a hurry. So he knows! I have to be prepared that Helin could be up to his own motives for releasing such a terror among our people.
