Be sneaky - try to hypnotize Sam unaware

An impatient voice gave her clearance to enter the room. Sam sat at his desk, occupied with his papers, and turned on his swivel chair. Before he could repeat his complaint verbally, Lily chose the smooth path. She quickly apologized for being too loud and to have disturbed his studying. Clearly confused by this unusual behavior of his annoying but cute sister, he did not know what to say.

Lily seized this opportunity. She explained that she had to do some homework in her "learn how to learn" class and she needed a partner to perform a short task. Sam was not pleased to be further distracted from his tasks, but after confirmation by Lily that she would leave the house afterward he settled down to help his little sister with her - likely silly - exercises. Her explanation went that she would make him do some exercises, which should boost focusing and absorbing more information into the long term memory.

They proceeded with some relaxation exercised, where Lily told Sam to become relaxed, to think of being in a quiet place. She adjusted her voice to his breathing. Sam was told to sink further and further into the chill out zone. Tentatively she asked him some questions which she thought would be slightly too personal. To her astonishment she received answers which were too embarrassing to be disclosed to a younger sister.
