Sansa Stark grew up in the sheltered, but cold and harsh environment of Winterfell. She was a beautiful young lady with thick auburn hair, high cheekbones and vivid blue eyes. While she was truly aware of her highly born status in class, she dreamt of being a true queen who was married to a strong, fair looking and just prince with whom she would rule a pleasant kingdom - more pleasant than the northern state that was dominated by her father.
She has an three brothers, Robb who was older and Bran and Rickon who were younger than her. She did not get along with her tougher and more tomboy-like sister Arya. Jon was her half-brother.. Sansa liked "lady-like" activities and is good at sewing, poetry, and music. Due to her nature of being somewhat naive, she repeatedly fell into traps that other people who played with her dreams set for her.
And she was thoroughly ticklish, particularly at her neck, armpits, ribs, butt, thighs and of course her feet. Her figure was slim despite her preference for lemon cakes. Sansa was aware of her developing body and the precious value it had, so she made sure that her body got a good treatment of soap and oil.
Her ticklish travails will accompany her through her coming-of-age and beyond. She was 11 years old when the story begins at Winterfell (this may differ from the films, but is in line with the book).
