Eric bolted from the house and ran and ran. When he was about two blocks away he was just happy that he wasn't a two year old. Then he started to doubt what he had seen. Maybe James was putting him on. He decided to go to his house and think about what to do.
Meanwhile, Audrey was determined to take out her frustrations with Jamie since she couldn't do anything about Eric. "Jamie," she called softly to James, "how would you like to go to a special school." Audrey could see it, James wearing one of those cute uniforms and being the sweetest little catholic school girl. Audrey didn't know why this appealed to her, but she thought it was just be so fun. The biggest kick out of it was that they weren't even Catholic.
"I don't know Audrey all my friends go to public school."
"You won't be losing your old friends, you will be making new ones."
"I still don't think so."
"Not so fast. Come with me and we'll look around and if you don't want to go, you won't have to."
"OK, if it'll be my choice."
Soon they were at the local Church which also had an annex which was a parochial school. Coming out of the church was a woman with her young daughter. The girl was receiving instruction for her first holy communion. The girl was still wearing her school uniform. Audrey made a switch and now Jamie attended the parochial school. She was dressed in her uniform. One of many that she had in her drawers at home.
"Audrey, can I ask you a question?" Jamie inquired.
"Sure honey."
"How come you didn't go to Catholic school when you were my age?"
"I don't know honey, mom and dad just didn't send me. But you are very lucky you get to go."
"I sure am."
Meanwhile Eric had called Kim and told her what had happened. They got together to try and figure out a plan.
