"You know" Ricky said "it's been some time since we went on a vacation"
It was 8 o'clock and Darin and Ricky were sitting on the breakfast table.
Both of them went to the nearby university and none of them had classes before 10 o'clock.
"Well," Darin said "Last summer break we went to Mexico, that's not that long ago I'd say."
He was right. Summer break ended in September and it was only just December.
Darin wasn't necessarily keen on a vacation with Ricky anytime soon since Ricky had eaten a strange cactus and was tripping balls for 2 days.
"But our term ends soon..." Ricky said bored. Darin was reading the newspaper. Ricky hated it when Darin read the newspaper because he would become bored of the silence quickly.
"...and I already had all my exams this term..." He continued "and so have you!"
Darin folded the newspaper in half twice and pit it down.
"Regardless of what I want, I can't afford to go on vacation, I'm not rich and neither are my parents." Darin said looking directly at Ricky.
"We could go on a really cheap vacation." Ricky threw in.
"I had to check my purse so see if I could even afford the newspaper, and the month's rent is due half a week away." Darin said to make himself clear.
"Well..." Ricky said "If we use the medallion we could make some reaaaally cheap vacation..."
