As she ascends the stairs Hariot notes that the floor and steps look like they have been rotting this might not exactly be stable or safe to stand on, but to Hariot that just increased the thrill of exploring. The hallway on the left looks perfectly plain and normal aside from the rotting rundown and abandoned vibe that permeates the whole mansion.
The hallway on the right looks a bit stranger the architecture and ornamentation turns more dark, gothic, and in a way down right occult with strange symbols carved into the mouldings, doorways, and archways. Just staring in its general direction escalated her heartbeat send a shiver down the girls spine, but still holding to her confidence Hariot the sensation invigorating. Hariot then decides too...
