Chapter #8She just has to wait by: Unknown Some people say waiting is the hardest thing to do, something Lisa was quickly realizing was true. As she laid there tracing doodles on the ground with her finger, she couldn't help but think about everything that had happened in the past few hours, and eventually she became acutely aware of her stomach growling, the sharp sting of hunger striking her at what could only be described as the worst moment.
Lisa tried to ignore her hunger but try as she might she couldn't stop herself from thinking about the new pizza shop that had opened in town, or the leftover past she had in the fridge at home, "Ugh...why...hy..hy" she moans as she begins shoving against the edges of the window, her efforts fruitless as her lack of food prevented her from using her full strength, her imagination running wild as she shoved, wiggled her upper body and kicked her legs, trying anything and everything to get free of her makeshift prison.
"You've gotta be kidding me!!!" she screams in frustration as, after a half hour of struggling resulted in absolutely no progress. Lisa's mind racing between her hunger and her situation, her anxiety ramping up, making her worry about whether or not she'd ever get out, even though she knew she'd eventually get free, tears starting to well in her eyes, some of them rolling down her face as she begins calling for help again, yelling louder than she thought she could, the little voice in the back of her head growing louder as she did making her anxiety even worse, which in turn made her cry even more.
Lisa cried until she didn't know whether she was crying from hunger, anger, or the tightness around her hips, everything leading to her having an emotional breakdown, as she screamed and struggled, struggled and screamed...   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
