In this world there's humans and anthros living peacefully together. The anthro-humans live along side the regular humans but there are key differences. The first one is that anthro-humans tend to be bigger, most averaging around eight feet tall, some up to twelve feet tall. They're bigger and stronger, but they tend to cap off at the intellectual level of a 16 year old human. So you see a lot of anthro-humans working in the trades, as bouncers, as shelf loaders, farmers and more. You would never see an anthro-human doing your taxes. The anthro-humans tend to live outside of big cities and more in rural areas where there is more room to stretch.
All the anthro-humans in this world are ground mammal based so there are no bird, lizards or whale anthro-humans, but there are skeleton remains of them.
There is also now human and anthro-human hybrids after centuries of keeping the two separate. In the last thirty years the societies have started to come together more. There were transitions, a few harsh. The NFL fell to pieces because who would want to watch a few scrawny humans play football when you can watch monsters of bears, bulls, dogs, gorillas and even rino humans play? Oh and don't even get me started on on the porn industry. Human guys have been going in for penis enlargement surgery just to try to complete with some of the anthro-human guys.
That brings us to Jason, our main character. He's a regular mid 20 something guy, 5'9" and about 130 pounds, brown hair and some fuzz on his chin. He just got into a car crash and got a few nasty bruises and cuts. He lost enough blood to require a blood transfusion..
Jason felt like he had been hit by a bus or that 10 foot tall bear that plays for the Chicago Bears. Everything a he'd. His neck and back were sorry and he felt like he was tied down.
He slowly opened his eyes and the ringing in his ears let in the sounds of an hospital room and two arguing people in front of him.
"...well how was I suppose to know?" came one muffled voice.
"The 'H' on the request," said the other man," Who knows what will happen to this kid."
"Well the kid has a unique need and we didn't have any human blood of his kind in," came the first voice, either a technician or a nurse.
"Shit.. well we will have to see if he reacts to it or not," said the second man, likely the doctor.
Then it hit Jason, he had received some anthro-human blood! What's going to happen?!
