a voice called out

"hey! what did I say about running off?"

the voice sounded male. the pokemon turned towards the sound of the voice. was the boy it's trainer?

"oh! did you find something?" the voice asked. I heard footsteps, and a young boy about my age walked over. "oh, who's this?"

"I-I'm Aqua" I said shakily. the pokemon was watching me with a look that I could only identify as hostile.

"nice to meet you Aqua" the boy said "sorry about this guy, he's a bit aggressive sometimes..."

I smiled, warming up to the kid. "it's ok, he just took me by surprise" I replied "what pokemon is he?"

the trainer looked at me with shock "you should recognize him, he's a pretty common species" the boy said "but, might as well tell you. He's a..."
