With the ice bucket full, Mackenzie turned to head back to her room. But suddenly an ear splitting siren began sounding throughout the building. Mackenzie froze in place, shocked and unsure what to do. It was the fire alarm! That meant the other hotel residents would soon be exiting the building, walking right past Mackenzie's current position. Her room was easily ten doors down the hall and people could begin coming out of their rooms at any moment!
Mackenzie gulped as she glanced down at her naked body, as if fully realizing the magnitude of her poor timing. She had to do something fast. She could try to make it back to her room and get dressed before evacuating, but there was no guarantee she could make it there unseen. On the other hand, she could try to hide among some nearby vending machines and hopefully remain unseen as people evacuated. A third idea suddenly popped into Mackenzie's head. If she sprinted outside, she would beat the crowd. If she could find a place to hide out there, then nobody would see her at all!
