Mackenzie only had one major complain about her job: the workload lottery. The amusement park where the redhead worked was an impressively large complex, boasting all sorts of different attractions. Due to the park's popularity, it wasn't uncommon for workers to get stressed out doing the same particular job day after day, so in the name of fairness, a semi-random system was implemented wherein workers would have a different task every day. This allowed rotation of employees to keep everyone up-to-speed on the different aspects of the park, as well as give respite to employees that might otherwise lose their minds.
This, of course, meant that some days were far worse than others depending on what work a person was assigned. As Mackenzie stepped into the employees' building and made her way to the work board, she silently hoped for good luck today. Maybe she'd get something nice and low-key like ride operation. She wouldn't have to deal with swarms of people all day that way.
Of course, there was also the chance that she'd be stuck with one of the crappier jobs. Mackenzie shuddered at the thought of having to wear the mascot suit. The big, bulky outfit was an absolute heat sink, uncomfortably warm even on cool days, and today was already promising to be on the sunny side. Not as bad, but still not pleasant, was the chance of getting stuck with water park duty. Something always seemed to be going wrong in that part of the park, whether it be troublemakers up to no good or one of the fountains malfunctioning. That was almost always a headache.
