Mackenzie hadn't had this job for long, but she certainly enjoyed it. After all, not everybody got to be a field reporter for the local news network. She was only one of a few, and most of her stories were small pieces, but people had started to recognize her around town, and Mackenzie couldn't deny that there was something amazing about knowing that she was becoming something of a local icon.
Even better, there had been rumors going around that she was tapped to cover the next big story to see what she was made of. If things went well, this could be the start of big things for her career!
Little did Mackenzie know that this next story would indeed be the defining moment of her career, but in the worst way possible. She'd be far more well known than ever before, though she'd wish she was anonymous. It all began when she went to cover the big story she'd been tapped for.
