Chapter #6In Julie's Hands Now by: Vintovka The ankle blocking your view upwards lifts, and Julie's foot takes a broad arc before she sets it back down on the floor. Her foot raises slightly when she leans down, her pretty face blocking out the overhead lights. Her brown eyes search for the source of her irritation, and quickly lock on to you, still struggling against her leg. You feel a breeze from her gasp, and you brace for the worst.
"There you are!" she whispers, her voice booming despite her efforts to keep quiet. "I was looking all over for you! Here, let me get you out of there." Her face pulls away and her right hand swings in, her fingers wedging under the tongue of her shoe. In no time she has you secured, and gently pulls you out from inside the top of her shoe. Slowly she carries you up to her face level and drops you into her other hand's waiting palm.
It's one thing to play around her ankles, but you hadn't anticipated what she'd look like now. Each of her eyes were now wide enough for you to curl up inside, and you could hop on her nose as if you were riding her face. If you wanted to you could easily curl up on her cheeks and take a nap, and her mouth, spread wide in a smile that seemed inappropriate considering, is longer than a canoe. It's impossible not to be awe-struck by your friend's features at this size, and a little intimidated.
"What happened to you though?" Julie asks, bringing you closer to her mouth. "I remember you being short, but not quite like this." She smirks, showing teeth through her enormous lips, and you try to return it without thinking of how easily you'd fit in there.
Quickly you tell her about your day so far - running into Fulda, shrinking during class, then her leaving you on the floor. "I'm really glad you found me," you say at the end. "I was worried it would be someone less... friendly. But now you can help me get back to my original size!"
Julie gives an exaggerated wince, then answers, "I'd love to help you, and I am definitely going to as soon as I have some idea how. But this is the semester review, and I kind of have to be here for it. Being tiny an extra hour won't kill you, will it?" Before you can answer she adds, "Of course not. So chill on the desk and bask in my radiance for a bit!" She lowers her hand to the desk and tilts her palm, allowing you to step off just as the lights dim. You gaze up at Julie while she stares intently forward, ready to take notes, and wonder how you'll make it through an hour of this, let alone longer. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
