“We talk at dinner all the time.” You said. A moment later, everyone stopped talking, and just continued eating, silently.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t going to be that easy, because your phone started ringing a few minutes later. You excused yourself to answer it.

When you looked at the caller ID, you saw that it was your girlfriend, who is now just a friend. “Hello?”

“Hey, Jamie. We haven’t talked in a few days, so I was wondering. How’s everything been with Bill? Are you still going to give him your virginity tonight, like you told me before?”
