James woke up one morning to discover a package at the foot of his bed. Attached was a note:

Dear James,
This pen can alter reality. Whatever is written will come true; whatever is struck out will be cancelled. I hope you will enjoy this as much as I have.

The note was unsigned. James opened the package, and inside was a blue fountain pen. Somehow, he believed what the note said; he could use this power to make all sorts of changes to reality! The gears in his mind started turning. He wrote...
