These last four months you've spent surviving, keeping as far from the giants as possible. Yet just persisting has not been fulfilling. Your human brain needs more to keep it occupied, to keep it from going stir-crazy. So you decided that you needed to get to know the gods you share this house with, so some knowledge of their lives might keep you entertained.
Starting with the mother makes sense. She's a a housewife, and so around pretty much all the time. You can get to know her, her hopes and dreams, her hobbie and pastimes.
Her name.
Measuring your quarter-inch tall self up against that heel, you feel absolutely pathetic. The tan that the day at the beach gave her has faded long ago, yet it's still an impressive mass of human that could crush you with an absent movement.
Having just gotten out of the shower, there are still droplets of water on her skin. While this may impede your climbing in places, the fact that these trickles prickle her will in fact help to mask whatever itches you cause. She'll think it's just another drop of water, and not feel the need to scratch you away.
That's the hope, anyway. So, you press yourself up against her foot and climb, looking forward to a day spent in the company of a living goddess.
