Chapter #26

Resting high

    by: Unknown
If this was going to be the first place that you went to sleep while at the size of an ant then you were going to need to get off of the ground. You have been avoiding death all day and you wouldn't be able to do that if you were sleeping helpless on the floor. You decided on climbing up the side of the counter and finding a place to rest there.

You began walking to the right side of the counter, which was thankfully away from the enormous parents that were were scrubbing away at the dishes. You eventually were met with the enormous wall that you tasked yourself with scaling. Like most of the things that you climbed today there were enough grooves that you could dig your hands into and hoist yourself up to. It took you some time but you were able to make it up to the top of the counter and just in time to watch the two giants stomp off to their room.

You walked over to the sink and looked down inside of it. You were going to want to stay away from it because of how deep it is, one slip up and you would most certainly be trapped in there. You turned back and saw that there were two gigantic bottles of dish soap that were sitting on the side of this family's building sized toaster. You figured that this could be the place where you rest for the night as you could squeeze in between the bottles and sleep there. You then put your plan into action, going in between the bottles and laid down on the hard surface that was the kitchen counter.

Before you drifted off to sleep you started to think over your day, how you were rudely taken away from your beach survival plans because you had to go inside of that woman's purse, how you were forced to do a lot of climbing and eat fast food which were things that you wanted to avoid, how you were almost eaten and crushed several times, but most importantly how this was just your life now. There was no way that you were going to find your way back to the shrinking device, someone probably unknowingly stepped on it by now, so you just had to live at this size now.

After coming to terms with your new life you went to sleep, expecting to be woken up by thunderous footsteps in the morning.

A few hours went by and the sound someone approaching woke you. You opened your eyes to see the giant form of the woman, now back in her robe. The lights were off and the giantess seemed tired so you assumed that she was back down here for a midnight snack. She grabbed a plate from the cabinet and placed it down with a loud crash on the counter. She then placed two slices of bead on the plate before walking off and causing a ray of light to appear behind you as she opened the refrigerator to get the other things that she needed for her sandwich.

Now you have been really greedy today with food and you definitely have more than enough food as it is so you may as well not even risk it. But at the same time it wouldn't hurt to take just a little more.

You have the following choices:

1. Go take some pieces of her sandwich

*Noteb*
2. Stay back and let the woman enjoy her meal

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
