Who could blame you for the terrible cut? This was your first time ever using an actual sword, let alone a laser one. The cut you had made started in the middle of her head, but then curved to the left, ending to the in the middle of her left side. You decided this was good enough, so you pressed the red button again, turning time back on.
The world went hazy for a moment, but soon your vision was back into focus. The little girl was still bothering the mother. "Please can we go to the Green Princess movie!"
The mother, clearly tired of the little girl said, "Kelly, we came here to just get clothes, I'm sorry, but we'll just have to see the movie next weekend."
"BUT MOM, can't you just use your super po-"
"I told you never to talk about that! Now come on, let's go get Melissa her clothes." The mother then grabbed her two daughters by their hands, and pulled them in the direction of the tween clothing store, "Suburban Outfitters".
You felt pretty bad about what you did, until realized this was probably the way that things were going to go down if you had just left them alone. Feeling a bit better, you then considered your options. You could follow the family some more, and see how your bad cut affects them.
Or you could try to right your wrong and do something else to help them.
Or you could ignore that family and try out the sword some more.
