"Heehee! This'll be the best prank ever!" Diamond giggled madly, as she awaited the arrival of a certain somepony to enter in through her front door.
Diamond Tiara invited Applebloom to a "Party", when in reality it was actually a trap she set up to play a rather BIG prank on Applebloom.
There was a knock at the door, and Diamond rushed up to answer it. Of course, it was Applebloom, just as Diamond expected.
"Howdy, Diamond! Sure is nice of ya t' come an' invite me to yer Party... hey, where is everypony?" Applebloom wondered, looking around at a practically deserted house.
"Oh, they haven't come yet, but I'm certain they'll be here any minute. Wanna come with me to the Dining Room? There's a lot of goodies in there, I'm certain you're just DYING to try." Diamond spoke, both mockingly and playfully.
Applebloom nodded, and followed Diamond to the Dining Area.
When there, Applebloom had a seat on the side of the table. But Diamond insisted she sat in the front, it was a bit odd for Diamond to be treating Applebloom so kindly, but Applebloom passed it off. Besides, Applebloom was taught not to ignore free food when offered.
In front of Applebloom was an assortment of treats, such as pies, cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other similar snacks.
"Woah... You must be expectin' a lotta ponies t' show up, Diamond!" Applebloom said, a bit overwhelmed.
"Oh, yeah. There was a huge sale at Sugarcube Corner, and my daddy LOVES a good deal. I mean, we didn't get this rich from paying full price." Diamond responded, keeping Applebloom from getting too suspicious.
