It was just like any other day in Lincoln, Nebraska. You were just sitting in your patrol car off the interstate watching vehicles pass you by. It was like this for most of the time you had been in the force. Your father had been a police officer, so of course when you got older that's what you wanted to do. You always wonder if you were destined for greater things in life. However just as you contemplate these thoughts you soon get a call over the radio that all units are needed to the UNL campus immediately. You quickly begin to turn on your squad car and begin heading toward a nearby off ramp into the city. As you get closer to the city center, you start to notice smoke plumes rise from all across town. Getting to an intersection, you watch as 3 S.W.A.T. vans speed past, as the do you pull in behind them and follow as more squad cars follow as well. Upon arriving near the campus you proceed to put you car in park and get out. As you get out you watch as S.W.A.T. teams as well as a few riot units begin dismounting their vans. You now also begin to hear gun fire ringing out at the campus and city. You spot the Sheriff and run up and ask whats the situation.
"Chemical Leak on the campus, we need all units here to help contain the students." he finishes before running forward to brief more officers on the situation. What do the students have to do with a chemical leak? You begin to wonder, looking back to this morning you had seen news reports of similar Chemical leaks across the US, you wonder if they had anything in common. Soon you become detracted by near by gun shots, as you turn to inspect the source, you gun drawn. You spot two officers running out of a near by school building, firing rounds behind them. This all didn't make sense, and even less at what happened next.
You watch as a cougar and wolf come running out and tackling the officers. However these were no normal animals, that looked half animal and half human. They seemed to walk upright and had a figure of a normal human, but now were covered in fur and had many feature of their respective animals. They also had remains of clothing on them as well. You watch as the two officers are mulled in front of you. Hearing more commotion you look around and see more half human animals running out of the campus attack police forces. They ranged in types of animals and sizes. To detracted you soon hear a loud growl near you. Looking behind you see the wolf hybrid from earlier running at you ready to attack. Thinking fast you quickly fire a round into its leg forcing it to the ground in pain. You see more of these things are begin to notice you. Thinking fast you quickly jump back into your squad car and begin pulling away. As you begin to drive away suddenly you end up hitting something or someone. Peering out the side window you see what looks like a deer like human think laying on the ground quickly struggling to get back up and continuing to run away. You don't know what the hell is going on, but you.
