You decide the best thing to do is wait until dark and try to move then, besides your little marathon made you tired, so you make yourself as comfortable as possible and drift off to sleep with your rebar weapon in hand. You wake up and see faint moonlight streaming in through the hole in the rubble, you grab the piece of rebar and stick your head out to make sure the coast was clear. You climb out of the rubble upon seeing no one around, slowly you make your way down the street, clutching your weapon tightly, prepared to defend yourself.
Slowly and cautiously you make it to a hunting and camping supply store, your original objective before getting chased down the street by some type of wolf. Cautiously you open the doors and make your way inside, the store was mainly untouched by the chaos outside, you make your way to where the guns so you could have a better weapon, but to your disappointment the only guns there weren't compatible with the ammo that was there, effectively making the guns useless.
Suddenly you hear a clatter outside, so you grab a knife off one of the shelves and make your way to the door. You peek around the corner, but see nothing so you go back and start gathering food and sleeping gear, "might as well stay the night here" you say to yourself. You grab a sleeping bag and locate a concealed spot to sleep, you enjoy a small meal consisting of beef jerky and some trail mix before going to sleep........
