"Sabrina?!" was RJ's response as he stumbled back.
"RJ?" the albino wolf questioned. "What are you in such a hurry for?"
"Well, you see-" the young man started to respond but was cut off.
"Finally caught up with you, breakfast!"
RJ whirled around to see Bernadette rounding the corner. The obese sheep was clearly out of breath but she heaved forward anyway, a triumphant smile on her face. At least until she noticed Sabrina.
"Oh no!" Bernadette exclaimed. "Not you."
"Yeah, me." said Sabrina, her red eyes narrowing. The plump wolfess moved forward so that she stood between RJ and Bernadette."You really haven't changed."
"And why should I, human-lover?!" Bernadette spat. "It's not illegal to eat humans! It never has been!"
"That doesn't make it, right!" Sabrina growled.
Bernadette scoffed. "Oh spare me the whole 'Humans-have-rights-too' routine. I got enough of that from you in high school!"
RJ just stood there taking this all in as the two went back and forth. Apparently, this had been going on for quite awhile and even before he met Sabrina or Bernadette. It would explain how Sabrina knew the sheep.
"Look," Bernadette started, "I don't want trouble I just want breakfast." She looked past Sabrina for a moment at RJ before turning back to the wolf.
Sabrina growled. "He's not on the menu!"
Bernadette gave an irritated sigh before trying to push past Sabrina. Sabrina immediately reacted by pushing the sheep back.
Bernadette glared, Sabrina glared, and RJ gulped. This was about to get ugly.
