Sally's wish (continuation of previous chapter)

Racing home Sally felt a giddiness she had not felt since she was a kid, it was silly she knew but what if this wishing device really worked? She could just wish Robotnik was gone…or that all the horrible things he had done never happened, or that Sonic was hers. Giggling at that though she quickly returned to her room, after giving one of her guards an order to bring her 100 rings as she was working on a “secret project.” The requested rings were brought to her within minutes and with shaking fingers, she slowly inserted one ring after another into the machine. The number ticking its way up to 100, as soon as it hit 100 rings the display lit up, revealing a number five next to the “wish” label. With trembling fingers, she grabbed the microphone and prepared to make her wish. “I w-wish that my true love was here in my hands right now.” She did not even think about the strange wording, nor did she feel the slight magical effect on her as she made the wish, she only knew that there was a sudden flash of light...
