Let's put some options on the table:

Story 1:Mondo likes his guys on the bigger side... He may or may not be dating Ishimaru but he wants to see Ishi pack on the pounds!

Story 2: The motive for one of the murders is weight gain! Until someone gets murdered everyone gets fatter. Although everyone would gain the story would focus on Ishimaru.
