He gestured to a rock with a carved rune in it, "Here we have this Runestone, its summons playful spirits, though you should be warned that if they don't want you to see their prank, you won't. Others might though, so you've gotta roll those dice if you want to see something good ... or not, if your the victim."
Picking up a stylized tree he showed it much like a jeweler would, holding it to the light and all that, "This tree is said to help people get more in touch with nature, I remember something about dryads and maenads and all that in its description, but I've lost it." He places it carefully back onto the shelf, making sure it was in the same exact spot it was before.
The old man turns to you and said "If neither of theses is what's you're looking for, I've got some more further down."
