After exiting the store, Vanessa took the 'potion' out of the bag and looked at it. It was in an old glass bottle, about the size of a pop can and was transparent with no label. The liquid inside was dark yellow in color, and was contained within by a cork.
"Why did I buy this?" The dark haired beauty asked herself. That shop was creepy, maybe it was just regular soda and called a potion to keep up with the stores gimmick? Yes that had to be it, because Vanessa honestly couldn't believe that this was meant to be an actual potion, what did the guy call it liquid courage? Ridiculous.
Regardless Vanessa popped off the cork and took a sniff. The aroma was..alluring, it smelt natural and sweet. She guessed it was some kind of fruit drink, but for the life her she couldn't identify what it was.
"I could use a does of courage." She chuckled to herself, taking a sip. Vanessa was nearly taken aback by the taste. It was incredibly bitter, but with an oddly sweet after taste. It certainly wasn't like any other beverage she had before. In fact as soon as she sipped it, Vanessa felt an odd sensation wash over her, a feeling of security and calmness, that she could do anything and never feel judged or embarrassed.
