As the date ends, it seems like there's nothing interesting to stick around for any more. You float through the front door and leave the house, then move on. You continue to wander the streets for a while, thinking about what you can do to get out of the mess you've wound up in. As it turns 1am, you come to a bridge. During the day, it is usually packed with cars, but at this time it is deserted.
Just about 50 metres ahead of you, you spot a girl in her late teens, possibly early 20's. As you get closer, you discover that she is standing on the wrong side of the railing. She's about to jump! You rush towards her, and not knowing what else to do, you fly your soul into her body. You don't take control, but you are now inside her head.
"Don't do it!" You say. The girl gasps and turns around.
"Who's there!?" She calls out, confused.
"I'm in your head." You tell her. "Now just come away from the edge. You don't want to do this." You try to encourage her.
"It's too late! I can't take it any more! I just want to put an end to this!!" She cries.
"Listen to me. I don't know what has happened, but I can assure you that everything is going to be fine. You don't want to throw your life away like this." You tell her.
"How is it going to be okay? My life is over!" The girl cries again.
"It doesn't need to be like this. You still have so much more to live for. Think about it! Whatever it is that's brought you to this, you can get past it. Please come away from the edge." You plead with her. The last thing you need today is to witness a suicide.
The girl stays silent for a while, thinking over everything you have said before making her final decision
