Chapter #3John the Chaotic Scientist by: Unknown As soon as you close your door, you project the thought "Einstein's Merlin" towards your closet. After a few seconds your closet changes from a disorganized teenage boy's closet into a small elevator. As soon as you step in, the elevator drops, and your closet is reformed around it. You quickly arrive at your destination, your main lab. You set down your book-bag, take out the magic book, and place it in a scanner that detects the elements the book, and its writing are made from. As this takes a while to complete, you think back a year.
You are in your basement on your birthday doing laundry. As you wait for the laundry to finish, the drier started to shoot electricity. Quickly, you pull out the plug and start coughing from the smoke. Looking behind the drier, you notice that there is a small disk covered in dirt. Entranced by this technologic marvel, you take it to your room and start to tinker with it. In no time, you swipe your hand across the top, and a holographic image of your Uncle Jack appears! You watch as your uncle begins to speak,"John, if you are watching this, listen carefully. What I am about to tell you will change your life forever." "If you want to step into your family heritage, go down to the basement and say 'Einstein's Merlin'."
As true to your curious self, you walk down into the basement and reply,"Einstein's Merlin!" As you say this, a empty wall in the basement splits down the middle, revealing a laboratory, and a robot version of Jack walks up to you and says,"Prepare to be shown a new, exciting, and sometimes dangerous world." You follow him into the lab, where for the next year you learn about the fringe sciences, including genetic manipulation, telekinesis, energy manipulation, and many others. All of that has led to you having the math, language, and science skill of a rocket scientist, a theoretic mathematician, and a congressman combined. Your body is now 10 times as productive as a normal human in every way.(strength, reflexes, mental, senses, flexibility, etc)
Present Day
After snapping out of your reminiscing, you end up floating some bread over a floating green fire and then smearing peanut butter and jelly on it, all while siting at the work table writing your essay that is due tomorrow. After you finish eating, you start to feel a little drowsy again as you thought,"Maybe I shouldn't have pulled 5 all nighters just to learn about and make that elevator. You then collapse in exhaustion. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
