Ask mom why she was sad.

...confront mom. You know something was wrong, knew whatever it was was somehow linked to your greatest frustration, and you was determined to find out why. Having made up your mind, you quickly walked to mom's bedroom, where you knew mom had disappeared to.

"Mom. Why are you so sad? You're certainly not yourself" you demanded.

Mom took one glance at you, and froze. While Megan and Harry didn't notice the changes to your body, mom could see what was happening to you. Gulping rapidly, she wondered what would be the best course of action. Finally she gave a sigh and answered.
"John. What would say to me if I told you that I have magic powers?"

"Very funny, mom. I know something is bothering you, but joking isn't the way to approach whatever is troubling you" you said.

"I knew that would be your answer. That is why we kept this from you, that both I and your sisters have magic powers. Plus, I didn't want you to start panicking about something that may or may not have happened. Something that I can know see is unavoidable."

"Mom. I don't know what you're thinking with all this witch crap, but I can tell that something is going to happen to me. What is it?" you demanded.

"Please understand, I had nothing to do with this. I don't know whether is due to a curse or some other spell, or your genetics, and you have to believe me that both Hayley and I have done everything we could, but.... you're turning into a girl."

"Mom!" you growled, tired of this madness.

"I thought about telling you to look at your reflection before telling you. Humor me. Go look at your reflection" mom said.

"Okay, but once I do, I want a real answer" you said. You walked over to the mirror and saw your reflection
