....nothing. All she did was give you a sad and slightly regretful smile. It was something that you picked up upon instantly.
"What's wrong?" you demanded as your hair grew out even more. It this point it was almost ear length and was a light brown color.
"Do you feel any different?" Megan asked, in an odd voice. It had a regretful undertone, yet it also had concern.
"No. Why? What is going on? Now you're acting weird; just like my sisters" you said.
Megan closed her eyes. Unlike you, she knew magic was real, and that you was turning into a girl. Hence her concern. "I know your family's secret. I've known it just before Mel disappeared. She came to me, frightened, which in turn caused your mom to intervene. Before you explode, I just have to say that I kept the secret because I wanted to keep you safe. I doesn't matter now."
"Damn it Megan! You know this has been driving me insane for the last year" you exploded.
"Your family consists of girls that can use magic and now that you know, you're going to be one too" Megan said as she started to sob.
"Tell me the truth right now, or I'm going" you said in an angry, hurt voice. At this point, your hair was past your ears and was starting to take on a honey blond color, something that every female in your family possessed. Megan, didn't say anything; instead she shoved a mirror into your face, allowing you to see your changed hair.
