you're going to have to play a new table

"A new table?" you ask.

The nondescript character nods as he leads you out of the devastated room you were hiding in.

"You see, kid, the Inventory was set up as a place where video characters could interface, not only with each other, but with your world as well. On a very limited basis, of course, but still. But there's always been a sort of, well, bad feeling between what you could call classic characters from video games, and characters who originated in other mediums and then became video game characters. And when the Inventory was made, the other kind of characters weren't invited."

"Well, they took offense to that, and decided tonight they were going to change that," the character said as he led you to a new undamaged door. "Well, there was a big battle, and finally they called a truce. The new class of video game characters are going to get to stay, but on a condition. Their female characters are going to have to sit in on the games like yours. Now, some of them aren't too thrilled about the whole stripping of their clothes and doing forfeit things, but what are they going to do? You know? So their cohorts told them they're going to have to play."

"So you're telling me that some of the women at the table I'm going to may not want to play strip poker," you begin, "But they're having to anyway, as a condition of this truce?"

"That's right," he answers, and then opens the door. "So enjoy."

You look inside the room, and waiting for you at the table are four female characters from the Video Game
