The Next Morning

    by: Unknown
The next morning, you wake up with a yawn and Colleen is already brushing her teeth in the next room. She finishes up just in time to walk up to you and hold out her hand. "Up and at 'em Neil," she says. "Next stop home." You let out a yawn. "Great," you say. "I'm sure Maggie already has breakfast cooking. Thanks for doing this Colleen." Colleen grins down on you and soon you're both in Colleen's car and are driving down the street.

"By the way Colleen, did you do all those works of art in your gallery? They look extraordinary. "Oh no," says Colleen. "Those were all done by my cousins. I come from a large family. Our great, great grandmother was good at breeding." "Oh, really?" Colleen nods her head. "In fact, my cousin Lupa made that dress." "I should hire her to make Sapphire's prom dress. Could you get me her number Colleen?" Colleen just grits her teeth. "That's not a good idea. My cousin Lupa... she's got quite an appetite on her. If she saw you, you'd be a light snack." You gulp. "In fact," says Colleen. "There are only two wolves besides me in the family who don't eat humans. In fact, my cousin April has one human she always says is her boyfriend."

You let out a chuckle. "Well, good luck to her. I can tell from experience that interspecies marriage is stable. Though personally, I'm more of a cat person." Colleen lets out a laugh. "What's it like being married to Sheriff Reaver." "Oh, it's the best. Maggie and I have been married for twenty years now." "Oh," says Colleen. "Impressive. Monsters tend to live a lot longer than humans." You shrug your shoulders. "Well, there's only one con. I have this mother-in-law, Cattleya, she's the biggest bit... er... shrew, I've ever met." You quickly change your words as not to insult Colleen given that she's technically a female dog.

Colleen nods her head. "You mean the widow Reaver. I think she made a human pie for the last charity bake sale." You shiver. "Don't remind me. She's been on my case since I married Maggie. One time, that witch sat on me for three hours. If I was only a few hundred feet bigger, I'd show that battle axe who's boss." "Oh," says Colleen. "Here we are."

Colleen parks her car and you see that you're back home. You jump in her hand and smell the air. Seems like Maggie is already cooking pancakes. After that horrible day yesterday, you could use a good meal.

Colleen knocks on the door, but who answers it?

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. Maggie

*Noteb*
2. Cattleya (Crap!)

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
