Fuck, Ryan! What the fuck is wrong with you! Cara was on the verge of tears, and he was speechless, busy kicking himself for his stupidity and carelessness. A soft, pulsing light stole his attention away, drawing his gaze to his open bedroom door. A high-pitched thrum filled the air, and Ryan felt alarm as he realized what was happening. The Heart! I have to stop it! He didn't make it even a step before there was a loud *POP!*

FUCK! Too late. He felt his stomach drop straight into a pit as he looked back at his sister, only to see that...
