A shout from beyond the door caused Cynthia's heart to jump out of her chest--or at least the shaking of her shapely jugs made it seem like it would.
"I won't be long, sweetheart. I'll get them started, we can stop back here to drop off the stuff and I'll transfer the clothes, and then we'll go to the movie," a young man called. Cynthia, who had moved from excited to mortified in a moment, was confident the voice belonged to her former crush Kareem.
Kareem was a handsome international honors student whom Cynthia had surprised kissed at a the New Year's Eve party at this apartment, the Love Shack. Kareem had been firm but courteous in rejecting her advances. His girlfriend turned fiancee, Winona, who was now giving an inaudible reply, had been less so. Though intoxicated, she clearly recalled Winona threatening in a cold rage to tear off both of Cynthia's lips if she tried something like that again.
A couple of weeks later she apologized in person to both and it had cleared the air some. Cynthia had later learned that Kareem and Winona had met in a Taekwondo class, so she imagined the half-Dakota half-Latina graduate would be physically capable carrying out her old threat.
Cynthia felt dizzy as she heard what must be his footsteps nearing the door; she scrambled off her firm booty to do something. Cynthia's mind came up with three ideas: hide in the custodian's closet, try to hide behind the door when he comes in, or just stay there and talk to Kareem. She didn't have long to weigh the options, but she knew the closet would be tight fit, the door trick only seemed to work in movies, and if Kareem reacted negatively and told his potentially mutilating bride-to-be, then Cynthia would be lewd, screwed, and tattooed.
