Cynthia was very relaxed as she sat patiently waiting for her clothes to finish, as she read she heard a small spark in the ceiling, suddenly the lights went out and the washing machine her clothes were in shut off. She looked around in the dark and quickly evaluated the situation, she walked to her washing machine and opened it, seeing that her clothes were completely soaked she pulled them out of the dryer and put them back on. They were extremely damp but it was necessary if she was to get out of the laundry room with her dignity intact. She then tried to open the door but it was stuck fast, she remembered it was an electronic hinge mechanism that only opened when a button next to it was pressed, she attempted pressing the button but it didn't work. She walked to her chair and slumped down, she was fed up of her wet clothes and stripped down completely, naked yet again. She then had an idea and opened a dryer and placed her wet clothes inside, once the power came back on she would be able to hurriedly dry her clothes and be out of there in no time.
She went and sat back at her chair, waiting for the power to come back on.
