"Why do you want me to play the role of a little girl?" Whining, you asked.
"You would look adorable in that pink dress." Teasing, Mary replied. She then turned serious. "It is to save you from real embarrassment as you don't know how to act like a teen girl. Little girls can act like little boys and no one will even blink an eye."
"I suppose you're right." Sighing, you said. "Before I do this, are there any rules?"
"Just three." Smiling, Mary said. "First, no complaining about what we make you do as we will all be doing the same thing, just on a teen level." She giggled. "Think of it as a new experience."
"That's fine, I guess." Wincing, you said. "Second...?"
"Second, you must answer to Jackie. If you answer to Jack at the sleepover, your cover will be blown." Serious, Mary said. "The idea of you being a little girl is no one will recognize you."
"That makes sense." Curious, you said. "What's the third rule?"
Mary giggled. "Try to keep an open mind." Smiling, she said. "The other girls may want to invite you to their sleepovers too." She grinned at your facial reaction, one of worry. "Relax. If they ask, it's completely up to you to accept or not. Just have a good reason why if you decline."
