This choice: You awake to find Randall sitting at your bedside. • Go Back...Chapter #6You awake to find Randall sitting at your bedside. by: Wassel Waking again, sometime later, you wondered for a moment if that had all just been some surreal dream. Thinking to yourself that there was no way you could now be a woman, nor Randall your sister. It all being simply too messed up to be true. This thought however, was quickly squashed, as you opened your eyes to see a figure sitting by your bed, quietly flicking through a magazine. Your initial thought of course, was that it was perhaps your mother or Tabitha, but as your eyes began to focus and you lifted your still half sleeping head from off your pillow, you saw that this was in fact not the case. This woman was younger than your mom but older than your sister. With an incredibly cute, soft face and long, light brown hair. Pulled back into a loose ponytail. She was also clothed in a green hospital gown, indicating that rather than being a visitor come to see you, she was another patient.
"Well it's about damn time," she said, turning to look at you, "I've been sitting here for like half an hour waiting for your sorry ass to wake up!"
That's when you realized who it was. It was the girl you'd seen reflected in the mirror... The girl the doctors had told you you had now become. Or more accurately, it was her identical twin sister. It was Randall.
"Randall...?" you squeaked on realizing this. Pulling yourself quickly up as everything you had being praying was a dream was now proved real. Almost immediately sensing something not right about your own body. Feeling your chest jiggle, as well as your hair falling down around your neck and shoulders. Giving you no doubt whatsoever, that you were in fact a girl. You were Tessa Robbins.
"In the flesh," your best friend, now twin responded, with an awkward chuckle "...Sort of." His voice sounding exactly like yours. Soft, sweet and incredibly feminine. It being nearly impossible to actually see him, instead of this strange but very attractive girl.
Seeing your reaction to this, he quickly apologized. "Sorry, dude. Didn't mean to freak you out or anything. I just got bored laying in bed by myself, and the doctors thought it might help if you saw me first when you woke up."
You meanwhile, could only gasp. "Jesus... It's real..." Still trying to process all this.
"Yeah, it is," Randall nodded. "But don't worry, I had pretty much the same reaction when I woke up yesterday. Couldn't get my head around it. ...Around this." Gesturing to his nubile female body, hidden as it was beneath the green gown. "It's as freaky as hell, believe you me."
Looking down towards your own form, spotting first two very distinct and obvious lumps pushing out from your chest, as well as a pair of slim, feminine hands, with half inch long nails, you softly muttered, "I'm a chick..." It being far too insane to even properly get your head around. But there was the proof right there. You had tits for Christ sake!
"If it's any consolation," Randall continued, in his usual jokey manner, "you're pretty damn hot! Me too." This naturally being where his mind went to. Randall, just like you were, being completely obsessed with girls. This fact obviously sweetening the pill somewhat. "Weird though that we now look exactly alike. Even sound it too."
He certainly seemed to be taking this well. Much better than you were anyway. Continually admiring himself as he spoke.
"Who'd have thought it, huh? Me and you becoming a pair of smoking hot, identical twin sisters. Not even in my wildest dreams did I think I'd end up like this."
You meanwhile, were still completely freaking out as you watched this strange girl speaking with your best friend's familiar cadence and tone, almost as if it was the most natural thing in the world. Which it most definitely was not.
"Jesus Christ, dude! How... How are you taking this so well?" you blurted. Having heard more than enough. "We're girls now! We're FREAKING girls! This is so... It's messed up!" This being about the understatement of the year.
"I know. I'm not saying it ain't," Randall replied, with a shrug. "But we're alive aren't we? Better this than being dead. I'm just trying to look on the bright side here." His beautiful new face breaking then into a sly little grin. "I do have a pair of awesome tits and pussy now after all..."
Trust Randall. Only he could be thinking about something like that at a time like this. His hands reaching for his chest. Causing, instead of the arousal you might usually feel watching a hot babe grab her tits, a shiver to work its way down your spine. Well aware that you also had a pair of near identical breasts beneath your gown. Something that you'd rather not think about now. That, as well as what else lay further down, being just too damn freaky to dwell on.
So, attempting to change the subject and get him to stop groping his breasts, you decided to ask, "Have you spoken to the doctors or our parents yet?" Desperate to find out what they thought of all this. As well as, what exactly was going to happen to you now. Having zero clue how you were going to slot back into your old lives looking like this.
Randall clearly had. Appearing slightly uncomfortable for a moment as he spoke. "Yeah... That's the other thing. Don't know whether I should let them tell you or not..."
"Tell me what?" you asked. Wondering what other bombshell there was left to drop. Doubting that anything could be worse than this.
You were wrong. Randall explaining then what Dr. Saunders and Dr. Kerry had told him. About how the legalities of the operation made it impossible to actually reveal who you really were. You and Randall, for the remainder of your lives, having to actually pretend now that you really were Tessa and Holly Robbins. That Tim and Randall really were dead.
"You've got to be shitting me?! They... They can't do that!"
"We don't really have much choice, dude," Randall argued. Having seemingly already agreed to go along with it. "As soon as some reporter gets wind of what happened, me and you are gonna be all over the TV and the internet. We'll be treated like freaks. Not to mention all the other legal complications that will come of us suddenly being in someone else's body. We could end up in a lab somewhere or some shit! And I for one definitely don't want that to happen.
"Besides," he continued, "better living like this, as this hot little piece of ass than going back to live with Alice." Referring of course to his 'evil' God-fearing step-mother. A woman that he really loathed, and who equally loathed him back. Informing you then that, "You know they totally disowned me. Her and my dad basically signed all the papers, took the compensation money and ran. Acted like I was some fucking 'abomination of God' or some shit. Who needs them?"
Shit. That was pretty heavy. Well aware of how tumultuous Randall's home life was, but never expecting this. From Alice maybe, but not his dad.
Still, as tough as this was, and as bad as you felt for your friend, it wasn't as easy as all that. This was your lives you were talking about here, as messed up and as uneventful as they may have been. Frantically telling him as much. "I can't just go from being myself to some random college chick I've never even heard of before. What about my family? What about Allison?" What about finally getting laid? This along with several other important milestones being something you'd never get to experience now that you were a girl. Your relationship with your girlfriend of the last several years surely now being over.
"You'll still see them all," he told you, "Your family at least. It's only in public we've got to pretend to be these chicks. Besides, we'll be roommates now. Dorm buddies in college. How long have you been telling me you wanted to skip high school and start partying hard at college. Well nows our chance! We're freaking sophomores now, dude, can you believe that shit?"
You couldn't. You really couldn't. Despite your best friend's attempts to make this all appear better, you were simply unable to match his level of enthusiasm. Being older, skipping high school, going to college, rooming together having all been things that you'd very much wanted. Just not like this. Not like this...
