Ran explained the all situation to Sonoko. Once she finished
" So you think that the little pipsquit is actually Shinichi?" Sonoko asked in a "are you all right" way
"I know it sounds crazy..." Ran said
"Crazy is light Ran. If I wasn't your best friend I'll probably think that you need to see a psychiatrist" Sonoko responded
"... but I cannot help it. From the day he arrived I always had this feeling, also my dad deductions skills improvved a lot, and besided this isn't the first time I have these suspects" Ran said.
"Yeah, and didn't everytime turned out that you were wrong?" asked Sonoko
"Yeah yeah, but still this feeling is too strong to ignore" Ran continued
Sonoko knew Ran too well, and she knew that there was no way that she would never stop until she was absolutly sure, so she decided that it was time to do something.
"Okay Ran come with me. Maybe there is a way to find out the truth once and for all" Sonoko said
"Really? What's that?" Ran asked
"You'll see. Let's go" Sonoko said and with that the two girls exited the park and called a taxi
