Chapter #4Strange Meeting by: Vente   Last night's events were as normal as you could recall. Having just arrived back home from an exhausting day at work, you quickly kicked off your shoes, ate leftovers from yesterdays dinner, and went straight to bed afterwards. This was the routine of your life at the moment. Your legs and feet were incredibly sore, the only thing you wished was to sleep it through the cold night.
The wind howled, and the chilly air seeped into the bedroom. Instinctively turning onto your side, hugging tightly at your blankets. Eyes feeling heavy, light becoming dim. It wasn't long before your body finally gave in, and you slept soundly in your bed. The cool wind seemed to have subsided, as your body temperature was quite warm as you awoke. Lifting yourself up, It was then the texture of the bed felt different.. A lot stiffer than before, and now that you begin noticing it, your blankets were no where near to be felt..
Opening your eyes, you found yourself outside in a unfamiliar setting. The bed you slept in was now an outdoor bench, leaning rather close to the wall. and quite a large one at that. Looking up at it felt almost tower like, making you feel a bit uneasy. You quickly turned your gaze downward, looking straight across from where you stood. The green tower like walls shaped into a long rectangle, to your right, was a fence door. Taking a few steps closer to the edge, there also appeared to be long white lines upon the ground. and in the middle of those lines farther away from bench, was a net. If the set up didn't make it obvious enough, you had found yourself in a tennis court. Your mind started to race quickly, just how, and why were you here? and how come you were so small? The cold and harsh environment of which you were residing was long gone, almost feeling like a dream, if this wasn't one..
Before the thoughts could begin finalizing in your head, a green bouncing tennis ball was headed your way at a rapid speed. having almost no time to react accordingly, you yelped as the ball hit you hard, and everything faded to black.

You woke up once again, a small, but noticeable pain pounding in your head made itself known. You grunted to yourself, placing your hands over your head.. "Oh! you're awake! Are you okay little guy?" You lifted your head to face where the voice came from. Needless to say, you were quite shocked. What you could only assume was an anthropomorphic rabbit, towered above you with a look of concern. Judging from her expression, it was safe to say that there was no harm to be met by this woman, but her rather tall height made her look somewhat intimidating. Which would soon disappear.. Her hair was blonde, the style was bangs. Just above her eyes was a blue sweatband, which matched the colors of her shirt and skirt. Her fur was tan, matched with small white gloves.
"That ball really hit you hard! Not that I was the one who hit the ball, I mean, I did.. Technically, but not on purpose, I swear! I just haven't gotten the hang of this sport." The young rabbit went on.
"If you hadn't yelled, I wouldn't have seen you. Speaking of you.. You're actually kinda cute!"
Her hand moved closer to your position, her hand stretched out with a finger. To which she began to gently rub your stomach, similar to how one would pet an animal. You were a bit overwhelmed considering the situation, but it was not like you could do much to stop her.. And it did feel a little nice too.
Her long eyelashes batted rapidly for a moment, as she giggled to herself before stopping. "I'm Lola bunny by the way." She spoke up, distracting you from the small enjoyment you had experienced. She withdrew her finger, and curiosity began to grow inside Lola "I've honestly never seen a human like you so small before, you should come with me. Just in case someone, I don't know, steps on you, or sits down. That would be bad, probably a LOT safer with me though."
Despite that you didn't know the woman, she was the only around who was very willing to help you out. That is, if you could get a chance to explain yourself..  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
